1999-2009:
During this period in my filmmaking I began to experiment more and more with hand painting and optical printing. This decade in my filmmaking was almost made entirely of hand painted and optimally printed works. I also experimented with making films using a matte box and an animation stand. during these years I also collaborated more with other filmmakers.
1.The Astrum Argentium (2006) This is my hand painted and optically printed homage to Aleister Crowley .2.Cinematic Abstractions # 4 (2002) This was the first film collaboration I did with R.K. Adams we made this film using a matte box. 3. A Meditation in Color and Light (2009) This is an entirely hand painted and step printed film.4. Proustain Neurosis (1999)I made this film with Mia Roozen 5.The Flickering of the Minds Eye (2001) This is my first hand painted optically printed film.
6.All Saints Day II (2002) This is the second film I did with filmmaker Joel Schlemowitz in our All Saints Day series 7.Anomalies of the Unconscious (2002) In this film I began to experiment with emulsion manipulations in addition to hand painting. 8.Vernal Obeisence (2003) This was the second film collaboration I did with R.K Adams we made this film using and animation stand. 9.The Production and Decay of Strange Particles (2008) My personal favorite of my hand painted works. 10,The Last 10 Minutes Of Existence (2000) The day Seattle changed forever, and the first in my series of portrait films.
